The Truth of Shadows is here!
Okay, fine. If we’re being technical, The Truth of Shadows released Monday, September 23rd, but I have a good reason to let you know NOW, instead of then. Well…maybe that’s not true, but I do have A reason. I swear it. Now, where was that reason…I’m sure I left it around here somewhere…
Ah, right! It’s because I’m the world’s worst about updating my website. Wait…that doesn’t help? In that case, maybe it’s best we just ignore it. Instead, let’s PRETEND that it’s September 23rd–I know, who wants to pretend its Monday again, right?–but work with me here.
It’s Monday, September 23rd, and guess what? I’ve got some awesome news for you. The Truth of Shadows, book two in The Nightfall Wars, is now released and available for purchase! So all of you that I like to imagine are pacing back and forth anxiously, rubbing your hands together in anticipation of my next release…well, why don’t you sit down for a spell, take a load off? Maybe…I dunno…read a book? Oh, and while we’re at it–I think I’ve got just the one. To pick up your copy of The Truth of Shadows, just click the appropriate link below:
There. Now, don’t you feel better? I know I do. Oh, and one more thing before I get back to finding another way to procrastinate when I should be drafting. Currently, I’m running a contest. This is how it works. On Monday, September 30th, I’ll check the sales rank of The Truth of Shadows. If it hits 3,000 or better in either the US or UK store, I’ll be giving away a signed copy of A Sellsword’s Compassion or The Son of the Morning to someone on the list. Awesome, right? But wait–there’s more. For each rank of 1,000 we reach HIGHER than 3,000 (so 2,000, 1,000, -1,000, etc.) I’ll give away another signed copy. If we end up breaking 1,000 in either store, I’ll do something really special. Like…I don’t know, but it’ll be awesome. And if you can’t trust the author who doesn’t update his website for a book launch until four days after it has released, who can you trust…right?
Oh, final thing: The Forging of Dawn, the prequel book to The Nightfall Wars, is free for the next four days. So if you haven’t read it yet, or want to recommend my work (bless you) to a friend/family member, they can give it a try for free right now. Which…I mean it’s free, so…I don’t have to sell you free, right?
